I recently did a photo shoot for freelance writer Rebecca Leigh. Shot in Maleny, in beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, I was inspired to take a short time lapse video of the shoot. This is the first of many time lapse movies I hope to make in 2009.

Hi Mark, I just ordered a remote shutter control for my DSLR and intend to hack it with a timer chip so that I can do timelapse. How did you do it?
That’s a great idea Matthew. I intend on doing something similar in the future. For this I used the camera on my Macbook Pro, but as you can see, the quality of the resulting video is fairly poor. I’ll be looking into a better setup and software to trigger the camera soon.
