Insomnia

In late 2014, I joined a group of photographers out in Joshua Tree, California to attend Phoot Camp.

The ‘insomnia’ series depicts a dreamscape of tension, in the isolated expanse of the moonlit Joshua Tree desert.  Bathed in soft light, the identities of the subjects as individuals become dwarfed against the ancient landscape and infinite backdrop of space. The atmosphere is serene and dream-like urging the viewer ask deeper questions as to why the subjects are there and what could be happening off camera.
